S.S. Noobian: Debut Voyage

Hello world, and all who inhabit it! Welcome to The Noobian Techie! My name is SaDesia. A little snippet about me:

I was born and raised in Virginia. I aspired to become a veterinarian and pursued my bachelor's in biology. I got the degree, but the rest did not quite work out as planned.

For a while, I believed that if I wanted to get into tech, I had to learn how to code. I felt it would not be technical if the job involved no coding.

So I watched youtube videos, signed up on free websites, and almost delved out $15,000 to join a Bootcamp.

After all that learning, tech burned me out, and I decided to get my graduate degree and revisit the technical world at another time.

Now I am back, but on a different path and with a newer perspective.

My official tech journey started in January, and I took a leap of faith. I lay in my bed, writhing in pain because of that corona. I was browsing social media and came across a company I had initially found through a colleague on LinkedIn. I will go into more detail about that company in another post, but I can assure you it has been a life-changing experience!

We are all told, "it's never too late to learn anything"; I am here to do that. The Noobian Techie will be the primary vessel to report my new findings and discoveries and be transparent about my journey as I navigate the technical waters.
